Millcreek needs elected leaders, not an appointed manager
I am concerned about the new form of government trying to be passed by the study commission. I have lived in Millcreek my entire life, and the elected supervisors have served our community very well. My deepest concern is that the manager does not have to be a resident of Millcreek, or the state, nor does he have to answer to the people of Millcreek because he is appointed and not elected.
Vote “no” to the question of changing the form government.

Stop stalling renewable energy in Pennsylvania
The rising cost of living is hitting every American, and nowhere is this more true than rising energy costs. Utility bills are relentlessly growing. In fact, here in Erie County, Penelec rated increased of 5.1% for residential customers and 9.9% for commercial customers in June.
I believe a big reason utility rates are increasing is because many proposed renewable energy projects have been stalled across the region by a little-known agency that controls our electricity bill. This entity is known as PJM, and they are hindering the ability to push forward much-needed renewable energy projects; they have been slow to approve dozens of renewable energy projects that could increase energy supply and help us move away from dirty fossil fuel powered plants, cleaning up our air and protecting our health at the same time.
If all of the renewable energy projects waiting for approval were allowed on the grid, PJM could generate enough additional clean, reliable electricity to power nearly all of the homes affected in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic region.
We need PJM to approve more clean energy projects as soon as possible, for the sake of our wallets and our environment.
