Minister for State-Owned Enterprises William Duma says private sector participation is critical in Papua New Guinea’s transition to renewable energy and reduction of diesel dependency.
Speaking at the Petroleum and Energy Conference, Duma said the government has set an objective to supply 78 percent of grid-connected consumers with power generated from renewable sources.
